Win a Dream Contest
Thanks to all those that submitted an entry to the Win a Dream Contest. Congratulations to the following recipients:

Requirements
To participate in the MLK Win a Dream opportunity, individuals were invited to submit a 250 – 500 word statement explaining their dream, why it’s important to them, their personal commitment to seeing it fulfilled and how it can improve their quality of life or the life of someone else.
- Must be a local resident of Greenville county
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be available to attend the Diversity Banquet on January 15, 2010
Selection Criteria
Dreams were scored by a panel of judges and evaluated on the following:
- Inspiring (0 – 100 possible points)
- Must explain how the dream being fulfilled can improve quality of life for dreamer or someone else (0 – 100 possible points)
- Demonstrates the dreamer’s personal commitment to seeing the dream fulfilled (0 – 100 possible points)
- Overall impression (0 – 100 possible points)
Total Possible Points = 400
The top two entries with the highest scores will receive a $250 cash reward to go towards their dream or if the candidate’s dream was health related he/she has a chance to win $1500 towards their MLK/Greenville Hospital System dream. In all, three dreams will be rewarded – two valued at $250 and one health dream valued at $1500.
