To pursue a career. To serve in public office. Or simply strengthen our communities by helping one another. Join us as we celebrate Dr. King’s dream and the countless others that have been achieved because of it.
About 45 years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King stood before our nation and declared his dream. Because of that day, because of that moment, because of his determination, his focus, his fight and his dream, millions of people of all races, ethnicities and orientations have been able to realize their dreams.

MLK Dream Weekend honors Dr. J.W. Henderson, for his work and efforts as a progressive leader at the forefront of Greenville’s civil rights movement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dr. Henderson’s family. He will always be remembered for his contributions to the Greenville community.
